Being DOE IMPEL 2023 Cohorts the Advanced Building Construction Collaborative fits right into the ethos of our company.

Right off the landing page of the ABC Collaborative  “innovative building technologies with a focus on energy efficiency, reduced greenhouse gas emissions, streamlined project delivery, and high-quality yet cost-effective building techniques and materials” That’s what the EcoSmart™Stud and our advanced wall system is all about!

Delivering a higher efficient exterior wall at a lower that lowers operational CO2 emissions in the building built and through the entire construction supply chain. We also have the bonus of speeding up the build process and lowering the embodied carbon of the new building.

Since 2015 there has been about 18,000 DOE Zero Energy Ready Homes built across America. In that same time about 10,000,000 new homes have been built.  The number of Zero Energy Ready Homes built needs to change dramatically and quickly!

The EcoSmart™ Stud is a way to accomplish this because we aren’t looking for contractors to completely change how they build exterior walls, we are just swapping their old wall stud out with a new advanced model.  We accomplish the high efficient exterior wall needed for Zero Energy Ready Homes at a far lower cost then current high efficient wall systems used making Zero Energy Ready Homes far more affordable to build. In fact in some areas of the country at no extra cost! we have done the math!
